Jeanie Marie Buss (born Jeanie Marie Buss) is a famous American woman in business. The current president is and the controlling owner for the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss, a Californian native has an affluent background. Jerry Buss was her father. Jerry Buss started out as a realty business tycoon and then later owned the Lakers. Her feelings of abandonment were heightened as her parents divorced in the year 1972. At 19 years old, she began working for the family business as the general manager of the Los Angeles Strings professional tennis team. Later, she established an organization called the Los Angeles Blades professional roller hockey team. She held the position of president of Great Western Forum prior to becoming vice-president for the Lakers. Buss was the inheritor of the Lakers through her father's estate in the year 2013. Her five siblings were the inheritors through a family trust. She assumed her duties as president of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss was also a partner in the ownership of Women of Wrestling (a Los Angeles-based pro-wrestling group).
