Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actress who is best known for her work on her role in the Freeform the fantasy show Shadowhunters as well as the Venevision television series Cosita linda and Voltea pa' qui is enamored. Additionally, she dances and also models. Her home is in Montreal, but grew up studying in Texas. Her passion for dance has been a part of her since she was a child. She has been training in different dance styles since her early years. As a 15-year-old, she entered beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained fame when she participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. In 2010 she made her debut on stage as a receptionist in the Telemundo telenovela Aurora. In 2015, she appeared in her debut feature film, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
